Clarkson continued: "The BBC have f**ked themselves. It was a great show and they f**ked it up."

Clarkson was attending the event to put on auction a lap around the famous Top Gear track for £100,000 it has been reported by The Mirror.

He added: "I didn't foresee my sacking but I would like to do one last lap, so I'll go down to Surrey and I'll do one last lap of that track before the f**king bastards sack me. I'll be a bit tearful when I do it, but f**k it, le's do it."

It was announced yesterday by the BBC that the network have now completed their internal investigation into Clarkson's suspension, with the result of that being announced next week.

The final episodes in Top Gear's current run have been pulled from schedules after co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May reportedly refused to present the show without Clarkson.
