Jennifer Metcalfe flattered by Sexiest Female Award

Jennifer Metcalfe says being named Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards is "so flattering".

The 'Hollyoaks' actress - who plays man-eater Mercedes McQueen on the soap - has thanked her fans for voting for her in the category which also saw 'Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, 'EastEnders' actress Jacqueline Jossa and former 'Emmerdale' star Natalie Anderson shortlisted.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the annual awards ceremony at DSTRKT nightclub in London, Jennifer said: "Oh it's lovely, it's so flattering. Thank you to everyone who voted for me."

The 32-year-old beauty - who is currently dating former 'Geordie Shore' star Greg Lake - added that her other half thinks her new title is hilarious, although he does find her "dead sexy".

She shared: "He think it's funny. He thinks I'm dead sexy. I'm like, 'How can you?'"

Meanwhile, Jennifer's co-star Jorgie Porter insisted she wasn't jealous of her pal - who wore a daring red rubber dress at the event - for bagging the title of Sexiest Female because she thinks she looks amazing.

She said: "Oh my God, have you seen her tonight? So, I have been begging her to wear this dress for so many years. I've been like, 'You should wear this dress', and she's been, 'Oh, I don't know'. Have you seen her? She's ridiculous. She's ridonculous, that ass."
