'Coronation Street' producers had to use a Ford Fiesta to cover Jennie McAlpine's baby bump.
The 34-year-old star - who plays Fiz Stape on the ITV soap - says the 'Corrie' crew had to reverse a car on the cobbles set recently because her bump was on show.
She said: "We started [covering the bump] with a mug, and then a handbag. I kid you not, last week they hid it with a Ford Fiesta.
"They said, 'Can we just move that car back a bit?' I said, 'Is this for my bump?' They said, 'Yeah, we can see it a bit, but it's going to help.' "
Jennie revealed 'Corrie' returnee Maureen Lipman's character Evelyn Plummer - Tyrone Dobbs' (Alan Halsall) grandmother - will be "very involved" in her alter-ego's exit storyline when she goes on maternity leave.
She said: "I've got a couple of weeks left filming with the brilliant Maureen.
"She's going to take Fiz's place while I'm gone.
"Evelyn is very involved [with Fiz's exit storyline].
"She's not impressed with our family set up. She's not impressed with Fiz as a wife and mother. It doesn't go very well for the next few weeks, then the family things get a bit ... yeah."
But Jennie - who has three-year-old son Albert with husband Chris Farr - expects to return to Weatherfield after giving birth to her second child, because she is yet to find out that Fiz is getting bumped off.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', she added: "So far, I haven't read any scripts where I die."
