Jayne Torvill turned down an offer to appear on 'The Masked Singer'.
The 'Dancing On Ice' star was presented with a pay day by producers to star on the next series of the hit ITV show, but she had to say no because she suffers from claustrophobia.
The contestants must wear elaborate disguises to hide their identities from the panel - which is comprised of Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross - and Jayne just wouldn't have been able to cope underneath her costume.
Speaking to to the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column, she said: "I was asked to do 'The Masked Singer' this year, but I didn't do it.
"I get really claustrophobic. Even when you're no wearing the mask, you have wear something over your head."
Jayne - who, along with her figure skating partner Christopher Dean, won the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics - says there was other motivating factor that stopped her from going on the show, a lack of vocal ability!
She said: "And I can't sing!"
The fourth season of 'The Masked Singer' - which is hosted by comedian Joel Dommett - will hit screens in January 2023.
