Jason Manford is set to host the new BBC One daytime quiz 'The Answer Run'.
The 42-year-old comedian will front the new show that will see pairs of contestants presented with two answers to select the correct one from.
Jason told The Sun: "I’m chuffed to bits to be back on BBC daytime again with The Answer Run. I really feel like this is going to be one of those addictive TV quiz shows where you’re sat at home shouting at the telly because you reckon you could’ve done better...
"It’s fast-paced, full of jeopardy and requires contestants to be able to make split-second decisions. But I promise we’ll have a laugh too."
His return to the BBC comes after his game show 'Unbeatable' was axed after two series.
The programme, which debuted in 2021, tested the knockout knowledge of contestants against their fellow opponents as they competed to win the jackpot prize.
The format saw four players battle it out solo in the first three rounds by finding unbeatable answers to build up their personal banks, before going head-to-head with the other opponents for a chance to make it through to the final.
Contestants were given six rank-able answers to choose from on each round.
The answer they deemed unbeatable determined whether they'd bank £1,000 or win nothing, and the strongest player remaining went through to the final for a chance to double their earnings.
A BBC spokesperson said: "Unbeatable had two great series but we need to make room for new opportunities. We'd like to thank Jason and the team for all their hard work."
