Jason Manford has insisted it is OK for people to have a "down day and not deflect it all the time".

The 'Death in Paradise' star believes Brits regularly compare themselves to others in tougher jobs or less fortunate positions than their own, but he thinks people are "no less important to the world" just because they're not rocket scientists or brain surgeons.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I always say, just because you're struggling, it doesn't mean you're failing - and that's OK.
"It's also OK to have a down day and not necessarily have to deflect it all the time.
"The Brits have a sense of, 'Well it is hard, but it's not as hard as that person.'
"'Yes I've got a tough job, but it's not a nurse' - even our phrases, we'll say, 'Well it's not brain surgery, it's not rocket science'.
"It's not those things, but it's no less important to the world, what you do and what you bring to it.
"I think we have to take that time and go, you know what, it has been tough but we'll get through it."
And the comedian believes one thing people can take from this tough year is that they will be able to take stock of what they have got and see what is "important" in life.
He added: "Life has been so busy and so full on for everybody, maybe one thing that this year does is take away all the extras.
"It strips it right back to what counts, and what's important."
