Jason Manford says the coronavirus pandemic made some people in the TV industry realise they're "not as important as they thought they were".

The comedian believes the industry has adapted to the pandemic in "a good way" and he is "all for" there being fewer people on a TV set.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "The whole industry's adapted to that - you know, in a good way! In a way the Covid stuff doesn't make a massive difference to filming because generally you are socially distanced.
"No one's ever here [in your face]. That's certainly less people on set - which I'm all for.
"There's certain people who suddenly realised they're not as important as they thought they were. [laughs]."
Jason had to wear a mask and have his temperature checked on the way to film Sky Cinema's Elf Everything campaign - in which he recreated some moments from Christmas film 'Elf' - but he believes it is "no bad thing" that people are having their hygiene checked nowadays before arriving on TV or motion picture sets.
He added: "But actually it was fine. We were all masked up, you get your temperature checked on your way onto set. It was the same as any job really, in that respect - whether you work in an office, a hospital or a film set.
"It is odd - there are certain things you go through. But it's no bad thing, I think, for people to be checking their hygiene!"
