Janine Butcher will admit killing Michael Moon in Eastenders.
The bitchy businesswoman - who is played by Charlie Brooks - will spill her dirty secret later this month when she admits to David Wicks (Michael French) that she stabbed her ex-husband (Steve Shepherd) in cold blood last month.
Although, what the feisty brunette doesn't know is that sneaky David has recorded her killer confession and is ready to share it with the police, which will put her behind bars for a very long time.
A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Now he's got all the evidence to put her away, David will use it to his own advantage. Janine better watch out!"
Hunky bar worker Joey Branning (David Witts) has been trying to lure Janine into bed over recent weeks in a bid to get her to fess up to the brutal killing after his sister Alice Branning (Jasmyn Banks) was wrongly charged with his murder.
However, as Joey struggles to prove his theory about Janine's involvement, he shares his idea with David, who takes matters into his own hands and confronts the killer himself.
Meanwhile, Charlie is set to say goodbye to Albert Square at the end of the year as she wants to spend time with her eight-year-old daughter Kiki.
