The 'Strictly Come Dancing' pro dancer - who married the 30-year-old dancer in 2017 - has admitted wanting to become a mother is "scary" because she knows a potential pregnancy will interrupt her work, as her body is her "job", but the pair are keen to start a family.

She told HELLO! magazine: "We always wanted to have a baby, but 2020 has definitely made me say to myself: 'You know what, Janette, it's never going to be the perfect time but it's always going to be the right time.'

"As a woman who's a dancer, my body is my job so it's scary to make that decision about the perfect time to start a family. I always thought there would be a perfect month and year, but what 2020 has made me realise is that perfect time is never going to come along."

The 37-year-old dancer believes her husband will make the best dad, and the pair can't wait to become doting parents.

She added: "We're definitely ready to be parents so we will see when that moment comes – you can't plan it.

"We will be beside ourselves and Aljaz will be the best dad. He is such a wonderful man and I'm so lucky to have him." will be the best dad. He is such a wonderful man and I'm so lucky to have him."

Aljaz previously admitted the Covid-19 lockdown added a new dynamic to his relationship with Janette.

He said: "Janette and I stayed in this flat for months. We have lived together for 10 years but we've always worked as well. "So it was interesting to learn the dynamics of the two of us being at home but not doing much."
