'Dancing on Ice' will bring back past favourites for its last ever series.
The ITV skating competition is set to end on a high by reuniting some of the best-loved celebrity contestants for an all-star edition, with Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean returning to help the wannabe skaters one last time.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Torvill and Dean said they wanted the final series to be the best, so what better way to treat fans than by bringing back some of their favourites?
"It won't just be people who've won. The idea is to bring people back who made an impression - whether they made a decent fist of it or not.
"Some have gone on to be quite good skaters, so it will be interesting to see if they have what it takes to win."
'Coronation Street' hunk Chris Fountain, rapper Vanilla Ice, former 'X Factor' runner-up Ray Quinn, 'Hollyoaks' beauty Jorgie Porter, and current champion Beth Tweddle are reportedly all being contacted by producers, with five-figure fees being offered.
However, there is hope for the show yet, since it was recently reported 'Dancing on Ice' might be continuing without skating pros Torvill and Dean.
Producers are thought to be keen to capitalise on the strong ratings by finding new mentors to coach future celebrity contestants once the dynamic duo hang up their skates in 2014.
