The 46-year-old chef is on the look-out for someone to stand in for close-ups of his hands for a new TV show, and the person in question will need to look just like Jamie from the forearm down.
As reported by The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column, an advert placed online by producers reads: "Jamie Oliver Ltd are looking for a hand double for a shoot on November 24 (although could lead to more work).
"Most importantly, your hands need to look like Jamie's. Please send pictures of your hands (including forearms) and what experience you have working with food."
The team behind the advert was also quick to point out Jamie still does all his own cooking.
They added: "And yes, before you ask, Jamie does genuinely make all his own food!"
Meanwhile, whoever lands the part could be in for a treat after the Naked Chef recently revealed he gifts his male staff members boxer shorts after he had an undergarment epiphany of his own.
He was so stunned at the comfort provided by boxer brand Saxx - whom he pointed out he has "no relationship with" - that he splashed out on a job lot for his restaurant staff.
He said: "I had a revelation about boxer shorts and we had a moment with the crew.
"I said, ‘What are you wearing? They all pull up their bits and it’s Calvin Klein, or what have you. So I bought them all Saxx."
It seems as though Jamie now refuses to wear anything else downstairs and claims the experience of wearing Saxx boxers is one like no other.
He said: "If you want to have your balls cradled by an angel all day, every day. This is the truth. They have trademarked ‘ballpark technology'. I’ve got some downstairs now."
