Jamie Oliver feels "deeply inadequate" when he looks in the mirror.
The 40-year-old celebrity chef has confessed that while he may appear happy and confident when presenting his TV shows, in real life he's much more self-conscious.
He said: "Every day I look in the mirror and feel deeply inadequate. Am I blagging it? Am I good enough? Am I clever enough?
"You can choose to take from this conversation what you will, but I ain't that bright. They [the public] think I'm clever and I'm really not."
The 'Jamie's 30 Minute Meals' host has been enjoying spending more time with his wife Juliette Norton and their children Daisy, Poppy, Buddy and Petal recently.
He told The Sunday Times newspaper: "The little ones I'm really enjoying, and I've had more time with them than I had with the first two. I was in that fallacy of thinking, while they're not talking, they're creatures not individuals. I did a lot of travelling and wound it down a year and a half too late to be with Pops and Dais. But it did't happen with the second two. I thought it wouldn't matter but it does. Family is important."
