The 32-year-old reality TV star quipped he will chain himself to the judges' table if he and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer are sent home from the BBC Latin and ballroom competition, because he is desperate to remain on the programme until the latter stages.

Speaking to heat magazine, he joked: "Listen, I thought if I get voted out, I'm going to chain myself to the judges' table and do a protest.

"I'm not leaving - I'm going to do a Trump! You'll have to force me out. I'm going to take it to the Supreme Court of the BBC."

Jamie - who had to pull out of last year's 'Strictly' series due to a foot injury - has developed an "undying bond" with his 38-year-old dance partner, and he calls her "goose" because she "hisses" at him.

He explained: "You create an undying bond. I call her goose because she hisses at me and she's just like a rare golden goose.

"We've only known each other really well for the last few weeks but we're like proper buddies. We talk about everything - sex, relationships, everything. Karen's one of those people where we could lie on each other on a flight for 10 hours and it won't be awkward.

"If I walked into the room covered in my own faeces, she wouldn't care. Honestly. We have such a great bond. And I'm sure everyone has, but she can shout, she can scream at me. I can get p***** off at her, and it doesn't matter."

The 'Made In Chelsea' star has been taking time out from the E4 show for the dance competition, but he is unsure whether he will return to the programme, despite his loyalty to the production company.

He said: "I'm incredibly loyal to Monkey Kingdom and Channel 4. They've given me an amazing career in television and kept us on screens for this long.

"I've taken a step back because of 'Strictly', and whether or not I'll go back. We'll see what happens. But it's a wonderful show. I have nothing but good things to say. Whether I go back, I don't know. It's up in the air."
