The 'Made in Chelsea' stars have managed to secure a wedding date and a venue ahead of their big day, but admitted it has been "really hectic" getting to that stage.
Jamie, 33, quipped: "Wedding plans are going badly. We're getting a divorce. We actually hate each other. No, of course, I'm kidding!
"It's just really hectic and my advice for anybody getting married is, 'Don't do it'. Stay single!"
Speaking to OK!, Sophie, 29, said: "It's honestly so stressful, no, seriously, do not get married. We've got a date and a venue, so we're getting there. It's not been fun though.
"People keep telling me there's a time that it's going to get fun, but it's not happened yet. Maybe nearer to the time.
"But my god, honestly, I wish we'd never bothered!"
In August, Jamie admitted he was excited for a big wedding that his new in-laws are paying for.
He said: "I want the big wedding. And her parents are paying for it. It's a great combo. I want this. And in Spain, I found out that actually the groom can walk down the aisle first.
"Because I want that moment when the doors open, and everyone goes … I'm going to go ... this is the greatest show! As Zac Efron."
The couple revealed in December that they had got engaged.
Jamie wrote on Instagram: "I couldn’t think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you @habboosophie."
Sophie also shared the happy news, writing: "WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you @jamielaing."
