James Jordan fears he could be "firing blanks" as he tries to have a baby with his wife Ola.
The 39-year-old dancer and Ola, 35, decided to try to start a family after they cancelled their nationwide tour because James suffered an injury in practice, but he has admitted to worrying that they've left it too late to have children.
He shared: "I think we'd both agree that had we not been involved in 'Strictly' for so many years we'd have had children earlier.
"You don't know until you start trying. I could be firing blanks!"
Ola explained that the couple - who tied the knot in 2003 - haven't been able to spend a lot of time together of late because she's been in the Netherlands filming 'Dancing With The Stars'.
The blonde beauty told Star magazine: "At the moment I'm flying in and out of Holland to judge 'Dancing With The Stars', so I'm not home much."
Despite this, James admitted he'd be thrilled if they do manage to have a baby of their own.
He said: "Put it this way, if Ola gets pregnant in the foreseeable future we'll be very happy."
This comes shortly after Ola revealed she took James' injury and the decision to cancel their tour as a sign they should try for a baby.
Ola explained: "James and I have always said that we would really like to start a family, but the time has never been quite right before.
"When I left 'Strictly' two years ago I thought I was ready, but I was offered 'I'm A Celebrity', and that lead to other jobs I felt I couldn't turn down.
"There was always something, but at the same time having children was always in the back of my mind. It has been this missing part in our lives."
