James Corden has been confirmed to replace Craig Ferguson as the host of the late night US talk show 'Late Late Show' at the beginning of 2015.
The comedian is to replace the star after a decade on the popular CBS programme, and has said it's an "honour" to be taking over.
He commented: "I can't describe how thrilled and honoured I am to be taking over from the brilliant Craig Ferguson.
"To be asked to host such a prestigious show on America's number one network is hugely exciting.
"I can't wait to get started, and will do my very best to make a show America will enjoy."
James and his wife Julia along with their three-year-old son Max are now preparing to move across the pond and have been viewing potential homes ahead of the jump.
A source said to the Daily Mirror: "It is a superb show to land for James and if successful it will see him become a star in Hollywood.
"TV bosses believe he has all the right assets to take America by storm.
"Already he and his wife Julia are preparing to move over to the States and have seen several properties."
