James "Arg" Argent is worried about stripping on 'The Real Full Monty: Live'.
The 30-year-old 'The Only Way is Essex' star is set to strip naked for the TV charity performance alongside the likes of Alexander Armstrong, Jeff Brazier and John Partridge, but the reality TV star - who has struggled with body insecurities - was unable to take off all his clothes during a rehearsal and it is now "touch and go" as to whether the TV star will be able to go through with the charity gig.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "It's no secret that James has struggled with body image issues, so the thought of stripping off has surprisingly left him feeling nervous. He hasn't yet been able to shed his clothes even when practising with the rest of the boys.
"He's travelled up to Sheffield for the performance, but he's not sure if he can go through with it. The rest of the 'Full Monty' crew have been really good and encouraging. He won't want to let them down. Their support, plus the adrenaline rush of a cheering audience and knowing it's for a good cause might be enough to get him to take the plunge - but it's touch and go."
The show aims to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancers, and 'EastEnders' star John - who was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2004 - hopes guys will examine themselves after watching the show.
He added: "Everyone's there for their own different reasons. When we are doing 'The Real Full Monty: Live' tomorrow night, binoculars optional everybody, we want men up and down the country to examine themselves. Ladies, wives, boyfriends, husbands, cop a feel, have a look, check yourselves. You'll see everything, the full package."
The TV charity performance is set to air on Wednesday night (28.03.18) on ITV.
