The former 'Love Island' star - who appeared on the show in 2018 - opened up in a candid and emotional video as he discussed the "torrent" of online abuse he's been receiving.
In a video on Instagram, he said: "To touch on what's going on, I'm really struggling. Really struggling with anxiety and depression, addiction and I've made some good steps today to get help.
"I can't do it on my own. In this fame industry it's hard, it's so cut throat. One minute people like you and one minute they don't.
"I've had a lot of fake friends come and go, I was surprised when I was in my dark space, all the people who said they would be there, weren't.
"I'm not going to feel sorry for myself, I've got my own responsibilities. I want to be a kind, nice person and I try my best."
Jack - who recently denied a drug driving charge, and split from 'TOWIE' star Frankie Sims - admitted he gets hurt by social media hate, but he feels like he needs to turn to his online followers.
He added: "The torrent of abuse on Instagram has really affected me. It couldn't be furtherer from the truth. Words hurt and we do see them.
"I thought I had thick skin but obviously not, ill be back though - bigger and stronger. I've turned off my like count and comments because it was bringing me down. It was putting me into a bad space."
The 30-year-old star explained the reason he was opening up was to try and encourage others to "speak out about mental health".
He continued: "The reason I’m saying this is if I can just help one person I’m happy.
"You should speak out about mental health because it’s a serious thing, it’s awful. It affects you physically, you don’t want to do anything or exercise. Leave the house.
"I’m sorry this is downbeat but I wanted to address it because over the last few weeks I’ve been getting some nasty, over the top remarks."
Jack feels like he's "let everyone down", but promised he's "turned over a new leaf" and is determined to "make everyone proud".
He wrote: "I want you to like me for how you saw me first on TV, I hope you’re well and sending lots of love. Sorry this was so sombre and sad. Keep going, you’ll come out the other end. I hope I do.
"I think people need to remember and take a look at themselves, people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
"If someone does a bad thing it doesn’t mean they’re a bad person. Just like if someone does one good thing, it doesn’t making them f****** Ghandi.
"I urge people to think before they comment or message, trust me it does affect people.
"This hasn’t even scratched the surface of the full story, it’s the most watered down version you could ever get. I might make a film – nah I won’t – maybe. Somethings you wouldn’t even believe."
