Jack Dee has quit 'The Apprentice: You're Fired'.
The 54-year-old stand-up comedian has decided to turn his back on the spin-off show - which airs an hour after the main show 'The Apprentice' and reflects on the shenanigans - after just one series in order to pursue other work commitments.
He explained: "It's been a tough decision to leave 'You're Fired.' I'd like to thank 'The Apprentice' team, BBC Two, the candidates and the 'Big Man' Lord Alan Sugar himself for making me feel so welcome but now, in keeping with 'The Apprentice' tradition and I am firing myself."
Jack took on the hosting gig last year following the departure of Dara O Briain, who presented the BBC2 programme for five years, in 2015 but his replacement is yet to be chosen.
However, it's believed the regular guest panellists - such as Romesh Ranganathan - are the front runners for the role at the moment.
Meanwhile, Jack's swift exit won't come as too much of a surprise to fans as he's currently tied up shooting the second series of 'Josh' as well as hosting his Radio Four show 'I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue'.
