Eamonn Holmes has blasted ITV as "the worst", claiming they have "no other ideas" apart from shows featuring Ant and Dec, Simon Cowell, or Bradley Walsh.
The former 'This Morning' presenter hit out at one of the channel's latest shows, 'My Mum, Your Dad', which has been called a "middle-aged 'Love Island', in which kids nominate their single parents to try to find love again.
During a conversation on GB News about the programme, Eamonn and his fellow breakfast show presenter Isabel Webster chatted to guest Christopher Biggins about the new show.
Biggins said: "Who would do such a thing? What will they think of next?
"They've got no bright ideas these television people - are you listening?"
But Isabel defended the programme, insisting it is a "good idea".
She said: "Why does it only have to be young and beautiful [people]."
But Eamonn took the opportunity to hit out at ITV, claiming they have "no other ideas" apart from shows featuring 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' co-hosts Ant and Dec, music mogul Simon, or 'The Chase' presenter Bradley.
He said: "I agree with you [Biggins]. I mean, ITV are the worst. If it's not Ant and Dec, or it's not Simon Cowell ...
"Or it's not Bradley Walsh on 'The Chase', they've got no other ideas!"
Biggins agreed with Eamonn, adding: "No ideas whatsoever!"
Eamonn's comments come after he fronted 'This Morning' alongside his wife Ruth Langsford from 2006 until 2022.
Afterwards, he claimed the version of events ITV told is that he "left them to go to GB News" - which ITV has denied - and he has since accused the channel of "putting out all the lies they want".
Speaking in June 2022, he said: He said: "The department of disinformation at ITV can put out all the lies they want.
"I wish somebody would show me the email or the letter that I was sent to say, ‘Eamonn, this is why this is coming to an end’.
"But to tell lies, that I left them to go to GB News ... I didn’t - they left me. Let’s get it straight. They left me. I don’t care, because our audience is only up."
A spokesperson for ITV said at the time: "This isn’t a version of events that we recognise, and as we have said before we wish Eamonn all of the very best."
