ITV has announced 'Deal or No Deal’ will return later this month.
The beloved game show previously aired on Channel 4, from 2005 to 2016 when it was hosted by Noel Edmonds, 74, before it was removed from the schedule.
But ITV has now confirmed the rebooted version will return to our screens on November 20 at 4pm on ITV1.
‘Catchphrase’ host Stephen Mulhern, 46, will host the much-anticipated reboot, and he previously described the programme as one of the "greatest shows of all time".
He said: “Wow what an opportunity, I’m beyond excited to be hosting the brand-new series. I’ve always been such a huge fan of the show, so much so, I’ve been practising at home with small cereal boxes!
”It looks so simple but it's an incredibly compelling game for both those playing and the viewers watching at home. It’s one of the greatest shows of all time and to be the new host is an honour! I can’t wait to get started.”
In each episode, a contestant is faced with 22 sealed boxes, each one containing a different sum of money, and they are given their own box.
Without knowing what each one contains, the contestant must eliminate boxes of their choosing, which are then opened, and the amount of money inside is revealed.
The Banker will then try to persuade the contestant to exchange the unknown sum of money in their box for a cash offer.
As long as the larger cash prizes are not opened, the Banker’s offers will gradually get higher and the contestant can end up making much more money than the amount in their box, but they can also make less.
The rebooted show will be familiar for longtime viewers, but the prize fund is expected to be cut from £250,000 to £100,000.
