The 'Emmerdale' actress - who has played Victoria Barton on the ITV show since 2006 - revealed she underwent the procedure earlier this month, and she gave her followers a positive update on Thursday (09.07.20).

She wrote on Instagram: "8 days post eye surgery - so far so good...

"Cheers to no longer saying I can't hear you because I can't see you (sic)"

The 26-year-old star hasn't given any other details on the surgery.

However, her fans were still delighted to hear it was a success, and they flooded the social media post with well wishes.

One follower wrote: "The best thing I have ever had done. If only I got them done a lot earlier (sic)"

Another commented: "Eye surgery was one of the best decisions I've ever made! It's been 2 years and I'm still amazed I don't need glasses (sic)"

Isabel and her 'Dales' co-stars recently returned to set to resume filming after the coronavirus lockdown halted production.

Her character Victoria - who is currently working as a chef for Kim Tate (Claire King) at Home Farm - left Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) devastated after revealing she was leaving her job at the Woolpack.

Isabel's former co-star Adam Thomas - who played her on-screen husband Adam Barton - tricked his Twitter followers this week as he joked about a soap comeback.

The 31-year-old actor - who spent nine years on the show until his exit in 2018 - teased actor James Hooton (Sam Dingle) and his fans when he responded to Danny Miller's tweet saying he had a big announcement to make.

He replied: "I'm coming back to emmerdale !!! Wahoooo!!! (sic)"

Although some fans quickly realised he was just joking, James.

He tweeted a number of party hat emojis and wrote: "Amazing news! @adamthomas coming home! #emmerdale #adambarton (sic)"

However, James soon realised he'd been duped, and admitted he was completely fooled by the joke.

He added: "I thought it was true... honest (sic)"
