Imran Adams hopes his 'Hollyoaks' character gets a happy ever after.
Although Mitchell Deveraux is engaged to the love of his life Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams), there is drama in store as he struggles to establish a relationship with his father Felix Westwood, played by Richard Blackwood.
Imran told Metro.co.uk: "It's been a whirlwind. This is the first time my feet have touched the ground, it's happened so fast.
"The Deveraux family expanding, Mitchell and Scott's relationship developing and evolving -- it's been a lot, and I've enjoyed it a lot. I think Mitchell has had a lot to deal with, but fingers crossed he can finally have his happy-ever-after -- we'll see!"
While Imran hopes Mitchell can work things out with his newly-discovered family, he admitted that there could be trouble ahead.
He said: "Mitchell -- bless him -- loves his family and he wants a relationship with them because he always thought he never had siblings, and the fact that he has two now is amazing.
"But he doesn't really understand them because he's had a very traditional life and they've had an experimental life, so that's a different world -- I'm hoping they can come together and find a real dynamic. A real family.
"There's so much you can explore with the whole daddy and son relationship. For anyone, especially within the black community. A lot of people messaged me and said that they feel as if they have a connection to the storyline. Hopefully they can forgive and move on, but we shall see!"
