Nikki Grahame's friends have paid tribute to the late star on what would've been her 39th birthday.

Several former 'Big Brother' stars took to social media on Wednesday (28.04.21) to honour Nikki, who passed away earlier this month aged 38 following a long battle with anorexia, including Imogen Thomas, who posted a collage of pictures of the pair.

Imogen - who appeared alongside Nikki in the seventh series of 'Big Brother' in 2006 - wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday my angel. I hope your having a ball sipping espresso martinis singing and dancing to eastside. I feel blessed to have had you as a friend and I will cherish our memories. Thank you. May your spirit shine forever. Miss you and love u always Nik (sic)"

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace - who also starred in Big Brother's seventh series - admitted she misses Nikki "dearly".

She wrote: "Happy birthday baby girl, too precious and delicate for this cold harsh world, so much vibrance & kindness in one, I know your in a better place still having fun... death is only painful for those of us left, as we miss you and wish you was still here with us, I believe you, and all lost loved ones are in a better place, a kinder more peaceful place... until we meet again, I will miss you.... dearly. I love you darling. (sic)"

Nikki's ex and former co-star Pete Bennett - who won 'Big Brother 7' - shared a portrait of his late former flame.

He added the caption: "Beautiful portrait by @mynamesash

Happy birthday Nikki xXx (sic)"

A GoFundMe page was set up for the late 'Big Brother' star before she died to help cover some of her treatment costs.

And following Nikki's death, it was revealed the sum raised - which currently stands at more than £70,000 - will go towards her funeral costs and to support others suffering from eating disorders.

Earlier this month, an update from the page's organisers Carly Cunningham and Leon Dee read: "We just wanted to let you know that we are turning donations back on for anyone that would like to make a donation in Nikki's memory, as lots of people have been asking if they can still donate.

"An amount will be used for the funeral costs and the remaining funds will be used to go towards an organisation that helps those suffering with eating disorders, the crucial funding that has been lacking to help people in these awful situations has not been addressed, we will use this money to the best of our ability to try and and stem this horrific, debilitating illness.

"We also would like to thank people who have sent private messages with lovely words about Nikki, she would be so thankful. (sic)"
