Iain Stirling would never be a contestant on 'Love Island'.
The 30-year-old Scottish comedian - who is dating TV presenter Laura Whitmore - says he could not spend eight- weeks in the villa in Majorca because there is not enough alcohol.
When asked if he'd ever appear on the show, for which he does the voiceover, Iain said: "No. Because you're only allowed like one beer or two beers an evening and if I'm near a pool and a hot space, I'm having alcohol.
"Also, they chat each other up sober. I don't feel there's enough made of that in the press. They really focus on stuff that doesn't matter. The front cover of every newspaper ever should be 'man chats up woman sober'".
Megan and Wes's boat date and the controversial Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler kiss sparked a social media frenzy of people saying the show was fixed and led to several conspiracy theories about ITV producers cherry-picking their content.
Talking to Heart London Breakfast, Iain added: "I find it really funny when there's this thing about 'oh they left stuff out'. We're trying to make a TV show that's good, and if something's been left out it's because it wasn't good.
"But everyone was trying to constantly come up with some kind of theory weren't they? One of the conspiracy theories was that Megan and Wes' date on a boat was filmed on green screen. We're in Majorca you can't move for boats. It's about £500 to rent a boat. Do you know how much it is to get a studio and a green screen?"
Iain also revealed latecomers Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel shocked everyone with their blossoming romance and he thought they were in with a chance to win the show.
He said: "At the first week, two weeks, you're thinking this isn't going to be a final, it's going to be a coronation... And then, as it came through, I genuinely started to think, oh Kaz and Josh, I mean they're beautiful together."
