Hugo Hammond and Amy Day, Tyler Cruickshank and Clarisse Juliette, and Sam Jackson and Mary Bedford have been voted as the three least favourite couples in ‘Love Island’.

The vote for the public’s favourite couple opened after the re-coupling during Tuesday’s (03.08.21) episode of the ITV2 reality series, and on Wednesday (04.08.21) the results were revealed, with all three Casa Amor girls finding themselves among the least favourite pairings.

At the end of Wednesday’s episode, it was revealed two boys and two girls would be sent home, and it was up to the safe islanders to pick which boy and which girl to save – with the boys saving one girl, and the girls saving one boy.

But fans will have to wait until Thursday (05.08.21) to find out who gets dumped from the villa, as the episode finished on a cliff-hanger.

The safe couples are Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran, Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish, Kaz Kamwi and Matthew MacNabb, Abigail Rawlings and Dale Mehmet, and Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Hugo has been in the villa from day one but has struggled to find a partner, and although it seemed as though he had hit the jackpot with Amy during the Casa Amor split, the cracks have begun to show in their romance in recent days.

Tyler came into the villa just before Casa Amor and was coupled up with Kaz, and although he broke her heart by coming back to the main villa with Clarisse, he admitted in Wednesday’s episode that he still has feelings for her.

Sam and Mary coupled up this week after both of their partners – Faye and Toby respectively – ditched them in the re-coupling to reunite with former flames from earlier in the series.

The shock dumping comes just after Kaz admitted to Tyler there was a small possibility she could give him another chance, which left her current partner Matthew fuming.

‘Love Island’ will continue on Thursday at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
