'Homes Under The Hammer' star Martin Roberts has his house is haunted by a ghost that carries a gun.
The 58-year-old presenter - who has been at the helm of the BBC home renovation series since it first aired back in 2003 - "loves" that his house is supposedly haunted by a spirt carrying a shotgun as well as other spectres whose names and histories he now knows.
He said : "I love my haunted house and now I know the ghosts' names. I’m not the landlord – I’m the custodian. While renovating, I was talking to the house, saying I was here to help it."
The property expert - who lives in the 17th century countryside house with wife Kirsty and their two children - went on to explain that he enlisted the help of a historical investigator, who claimed that two children as well as a woman and a man holding a shotgun were haunting his house.
Speaking on the new show 'Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted', he said: "A historical investigator learned there was a woman, a little boy and girl, and a man sat in the living room with a shotgun. During one of the things they did I definitely heard the girl - Bryony - say ‘Martin’."
Martin then told of how a paranormal expert a "pathway" was created in case they wanted to leave, but the spirits have decided to stay, with the TV star revealing they have their own stockings and presents at Christmas.
He said: "I’m religious, so I believe in the afterlife. They haven’t gone to heaven or hell so with the help of a paranormal expert, a pathway was opened for them to leave but they decided to stay I put out stockings and Christmas presents – toys, a beer and slippers."
