Richard Blackwood says Felix Westwood is "very upset" with how things unfold with Cormac Ranger.
The 'Hollyoaks' actor has opened up on upcoming scenes as Felix and Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) confront James Gaddas' character over his cruel abuse at the children's home.
A recent trailer suggested Warren may have killed Cormac, and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) has witnessed the shocking incident.
Richard told Inside Soap magazine: "Felix doesn't want Brody to be a part of anything that could get him into trouble, because he probably wouldn't be able to handle that.
"Whereas, for Warren and Felix, it's part of the way they grew up, they know that world better. Felix is very upset at the way everything plays out.
"He doesn't believe it should have come to this. Now they're all implicated in this terrible situation, which could have huge ramifications."
Richard commented on the possibility of both Felix and Warren being left with a body on their hands after "events take a turn" when they decided to teach their former care home manager a lesson.
He laughed: "This is 'Hollyoaks' - things never go to plan!
"Felix hopes they can get a resolution to this situation without taking it too far, but he also understands that sometimes, things can get out of hand.
"Events take a lift turn, and it all gets very dark."
He explained how his character initially wanted to "leave what happened in the past", but his emotions caught up with him.
He added: "He realises that this is still affecting him now, so he decides he wants to deal with the situation once and for all.
"It starts off with Cormac saying what he needs to say, and Felix is pretty happy with that.
"But then things begin to get a big messy, and they have to figure out how to deal with everything."
