Holly Willoughby was brought to tears when she said farewell on today's episode of This Morning.
Currently expecting her third child with husband Daniel Baldwin, she struggled to fight back the tears before going on maternity leave.
As her replacement Amanda Holden walked on set to present Holly with a bouquet of flowers, Holly said: "I'm officially handing my baton over to you, look after my Phillip [Schofield]."
She then received a phone call from her husband which made her burst into tears as she said goodbye to the rest of the This Morning team.
He said: "We can't wait for you to come home, all of us. The kids are so excited. We were talking about it this morning. I think [our daughter] Belle thinks you got the sack!"
He went on to joke that they were expecting another daughter - a claim she quickly denied.
"No we're not, we really don't know." she said.
