Holly Hagan says her career "opened" her up to sexual harassment and assault.
The 'Geordie Shore' star has hit out at members of the pubic who thought they had "the right" to touch her inappropriately during club appearances just because she's appeared on television.
Candidly discussing her own experiences, Holly told the BBC's 'Reality Tea' podcast: "I would go to club appearances and people would think because I've been this person on TV that they had the god-given right to just turn around and grab my boob or try and put their hand up my skirt.
"It was honestly probably one of the most scariest times of my life."
The 27-year-old star explained she often had to make personal appearances alone, while she also couldn't "afford security".
It meant Holly would deliberately dress more conservatively to try and discourage vile behaviour.
She added: "I used to go to the clubs in jeans and long tops because if I wore anything that was actually clubby, I put myself more at risk.
"If my boobs were out, I was more at risk. If I had a skirt on, I was more at risk of someone putting their hand up my skirt.
"I actually started - when I'd get photos with people, I'd keep my bum pressed against the wall so that no-one could slip their hand down [my skirt]."
Meanwhile, Holly had a very happy announcement to make earlier this year when she revealed she is engaged to footballer Jacob Blyth after two years together.
Taking to Instagram in June, she wrote: "I can't believe I'm actually writing this, or that we and everybody else managed to keep it a secret for the last couple of weeks.
"But on our second anniversary on the island where we first met, the love of my life asked me to be his WIFE!!
"I was honestly in shock, I believed for such a long time that I didn't deserve to be loved, But I was so wrong. Jacob is everything I was told I didn't deserve and more. (sic)"
