'Hole In The Wall' is reportedly being lined up for a reboot.
The iconic BBC gameshow - which was initially hosted by Dale Winton in 2008 before Anton Du Beke took over for the second series the following year - saw celebrities in silver suits and helmets trying to avoid getting pushed into pool of water by forming the right shape to get themselves through a hole in the wall as it moved towards them.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The production company that own the rights to the show have been floating the idea of bringing it back with broadcasters."
While it's thought the Beeb could be in the running to bring back the classic programme, the likes of ITV or a streaming platform have also been floated as possible homes for a revival.
The insider added: “That includes the BBC, but just because it started out on the Beeb doesn’t mean it will end up there second time round, it could end up on ITV or even a streamer.
"It could even lead to a bidding war between some big companies, many of whom will now be headed up by execs who used to watch the show when they were growing up.”
Original host Winton tragically died in 2018 aged 62, while Du Beke currently serves as a judge on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
There have been some big revivals in recent memory with some shows changing hands, as ITV brought back 'Big Brother', which originally aired on Channel 4 before moving to Channel 5.
And BBC themselves found success this year with 'Gladiators', which became a huge hit for ITV in the 1990s.
Before last month's final, the BBC confirmed the sports entertainment show has been recommissioned for a second series.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, said: “'Gladiators' has really kicked this year off with a bang, and we’re so delighted that the fans have come to the show in their masses.
"It has been wonderful to hear how much families have loved watching this together, as part of the BBC’s Saturday evening entertainment offering.
"We can’t wait for more action from the Gladiators.”
