Helen Flanagan has dressed as a sexy Santa Claus to persuade those Christmas shopping to stay away from fur.
The former 'Coronation Street' beauty looked stunning as she braved the cold in London's Covent Garden this morning (11.12.13) while wearing a delightful red dress and knee-length socks, complete with bows on, alongside a group of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) members.
Helen held a sign which read, "Keep It Fur-Free Under the Xmas Tree", and stood near the Covent Garden Christmas tree as she took part in the animal rights charity's anti-fur campaign.
She said: "Fur is cruel and gruesome, and it belongs squarely in Christmas' past. With all the wonderful stylish, fur-free designs available today, it's never been easier to celebrate with Christmas gifts that are as kind as they are chic."
Several other stars have previously backed PETA's anti-fur campaigns, including former 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke, who posed nude for the organisation's 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' initiative.
Last year, former 'Britain's Got Talent' winners, Ashleigh Butler and her dancing dog Pudsey fronted a PETA campaign which called for a ban on the cruel practice of using wild animals in circuses.
