Helen Flanagan will not return to 'Coronation Street'.
The 31-year-old actress has played Rosie Webster on and off since 2000 and after making her last appearance on the cobbles in 2018, she has reportedly made the decision to leave Weatherfield behind her in order to focus on raising her and fiance Scott Sinclair's three children, as well as other projects.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s up in the air as to whether she will ever return. She has other career dreams she’d like to work on before making up her mind.
“She wants to focus on her three children and has other career dreams, including acting roles, she would like to work on before making up her mind whether to reprise her role as Rosie."
At present Helen is planning at least two or three years off screen but the insider doesn't think it's likely she'd return after that.
The source added: “In the short term the break would be around two to three more years but there’s no saying she will come back even after that.
“Helen loves Coronation Street, her character and the family but it takes up a huge amount of her time and it’s become unfeasible.
“ITV have left the door open for her should she ever wish to come back.”
Rosie's final scenes on 'Corrie' saw her interviewed on 'This Morning' by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning before flying to Japan to host a TV show.
The actress previously admitted she was ready to return to the show but then found out she was pregnant with her son Charlie, who was born in May.
Helen - who also has daughters Matilda, six, and Delilah, three - said earlier this year: "I was in talks with 'Corrie' about going back. Then I found out I was pregnant a few days later and I had to say in my meeting that I was pregnant.
"So I was going to go back but then I fell pregnant with Charlie and he’s the best thing ever."
