Helen Flanagan was planning to return to 'Coronation Street' before she fell pregnant.
The 30-year-old actress - who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap - was in talks with the show's bosses about a possible return, but she was ultimately forced to abandon those plans when she fell pregnant with her son Charlie.
Helen - who gave birth at the end of March - told 'Loose Women': "I was in talks with 'Corrie' about going back. Then I found out I was pregnant a few days later and I had to say in my meeting that I was pregnant.
"So I was going to go back but then I fell pregnant with Charlie and he’s the best thing ever."
Helen remains keen on the idea of returning to the cobbles one day.
However, for the time being, she's entirely focused on raising her three kids.
The actress - who also has Matilda, five, and Delilah, two, with sports star Scott Sinclair - said: "I’d love to [return], I grew up on the show and I do miss the excitement of that. But your children are only young for such a [small] time so I’m just really enjoying them being young and being at home."
Helen previously revealed she was planning to be "more chilled" ahead of Charlie's arrival.
The soap star - who last appeared in 'Coronation Street' in 2018 - insisted she was determined to not "sweat the small stuff" so much.
She shared: "No one has it together all the time. Knowing that I’m going to have three children, three years apart, I know I need to work on being more chilled, even more patient and not sweat the small stuff."
