Helen Flanagan wants to return to TV acting in a period drama.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap for 12 years before quitting in February 2012 after suffering from depression - is keen to make a small screen comeback in a completely different role to her ditsy ex-character.
She said: "I'm in a couple of British films this summer - that's been keeping me busy!
"But I really want to get back into period dramas. I love them."
While the 23-year-old stunner has been linked with a return to the 'Corrie' cobbles in the near future, she would not be too pleased about having to wake up in the early hours to film scenes.
She explained: "One thing I don't miss is that I don't have to get up at five in the morning any more. It took me a while to adjust to that."
But Helen is not likely to make a return to reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' following her stint on the programme last year, during which she was mocked on social networking sites for failing to take on several of the programme's feared Bushtucker Trials, because it was not what she expected.
She added to Nuts magazine: "When I went into the jungle, I thought I'd just be wearing a bikini and making friends. I didn't think it'd be so intense!"
