Helen Flanagan wants to adopt a baby next year.
The 23-year-old star is keen to become a mother at a young age and despite recently splitting from her soccer star boyfriend Scott Sinclair, the former 'Coronation Street' actress believes she would be a great single mum.
She told OK! magazine: "I really wanted a baby when me and Scott were together and now obviously I'm glad we didn't have one. Even though I'm young, I do think I'd be a good mum. Not now, but maybe next year.
"Even on my own I'd think of adopting. I'd never rule out adoption because it's amazing - you can give someone love and a home. I'm far too busy and I do feel slightly too young at the moment, but I've always wanted to be a mum.
"I think [I'd adopt] from the world because there are lots of children that need a home. Maybe next year if things don't work out with Scott. I love children and have always wanted to have them young.
"I just want them to be happy. I think I'd be a good mum. I'm emotionally intelligent, so as long as my child felt free and happy, I'd support them."
Helen has even picked out a name, Tiger Rose, for her child if she adopts a daughter because she is "obsessed" with the animals.
She added: "I always said if I had a girl she'd be called Tiger Rose - I'm obsessed with tigers because that means fearless and strong and then rose is really feminine."
