Harry Hill is making a new sitcom pilot with Jennifer Saunders.
The 53-year-old comedian has been a main stay on ITV for the past 15 years but he is jumping ship to BBC for the programme, tentatively titled 'The Harry Hill Sitcom'.
Harry will play the main character and 'Absolutely Fabulous' legend Jennifer, 59, is going to portray his mum.
Although other details are under wraps a source told The Sun's Bizarre TV column that it is a "brilliantly mad story with an all-star cast".
Harry made his name on ITV by fronting the madcap television review show 'TV Burp' and voicing 'You've Been Framed', however, his reboot of singing show 'Stars In Their Eyes' was not well received.
But the one-time doctor did begin his career on BBC Two back in 1994 with 'Harry Hill's Fruit Fancies'.
Other than his new sitcom, Harry has been toying with the idea of bringing back 'TV Burp' with a new format.
The original series ran from 2001 to 2012 which saw him rate the past week's television, recreate scenes in comic sketches and entertain celebrity guests.
Harry thinks it would be great if it came back with guest presenters.
Previously speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I wouldn't do 'TV Burp' again. But I think they should bring it back with someone else. Someone mad enough to do it! Maybe guest presenters..."
