Hannah Spearritt is set to return to 'EastEnders'.
The former S Club 7 star is believed to have wowed bosses of the BBC One soap with her performance as Kandice Taylor - the younger sister of Albert Square's troublemaker Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) - in two episodes which aired in December, and they are said to be keen to bring her back as she created a great "buzz" around the show.
An insider told The Sun's Bizarre TV column: "Bosses were really impressed with Hannah's talent and energy. She went down well with fans and created a great buzz around the show.
"She has a positive, hard-working attitude, which was infectious."
If the 37-year-old star's return is a success, there is the possibility she could become a long-term cast member.
The source added: "If she continues to prove popular, she could be a more permanent fixture. Plus her chemistry with other actors works really well."
Hannah previously admitted she was delighted to have joined the soap.
She said: "I'm over the moon to be joining the show, it's such a huge part of British telly.
"I'm really looking forward to getting started and I can't wait to see the Square in the flesh. Walford here I come."
In December, Kandice gave Karen £1,000 to help pay off debt collectors.
Hannah followed in the footsteps of Blue's Lee Ryan who joined the 'EastEnders' cast for a short stint earlier in 2017, only to be given a regular role.
Hannah first rose to fame as part of chart-topping pop group S Club 7, starring in their own TV show on CBBC, and she went on to land acting roles in 'Primeval', 'Death In Paradise' and 'Casualty'.
