'The X Factor' is down to five following the elimination of Hannah Barrett.
After shedding tears through her performance of Etta James' 'I'd Rather Go Blind', the student was sent home by Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow in a sing-off against Rough Copy.
Speaking afterwards, emotional Hannah praised her sing-off opponents as her "brothers" and said she felt "blessed" to have made it so far in the competition.
Both Nicole and Gary opted to save their own acts, with the Take That star hailing the sing-off - which saw Rough Copy perform Oasis' 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' - as "amazing".
Furious Sharon called the result a "travesty" but eventually opted to send home Hannah "with regret" as it was her third time in the bottom two, and fourth judge Louis backing her decision.
The Irishman also took an apparent swipe at Tamera Foster - who again forgot her words on last night's (23.11.13) show - as he described Hannah and Rough Copy "amazing singers who both remembered their words."
