'The Great British Bake Off' will eliminate two bakers from the competition next week.
The Channel 4 show didn't send any of the contestants home on Wednesday (18.10.23) night as Tasha missed the technical and showstopper bakes due to illness.
At the end of the episode, new host Alison Hammond said: "You’re all staying. However, next week, two bakers will leave the tent."
It means the pressure is on when 'Bake Off' returns to its usual Tuesday time slot - having been delayed by a day becasuse of the ENgland v Italy Euro 2024 qualifier - with Pastry Week.
This week's theme was all about chocolate, as Matty won Star Baker for the first time.
Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood admitted Cristy, Rowan and Saku were in trouble after their chocolate cake boxes failed to impress, but Tasha's absence means they're getting another chance.
Asked who was at risk of leaving, Prue said: "Definitely Cristy. Definitely Saku."
Paul added: "I think coming into today, they weren't doing particularly well. And, actually, both of them are much of a much.
"Saku's was quite dry but the flavour was good, and Cristy's [was] quite dry but the flavour was good - so they're almost identical."
However, Tasha not being involved in the last two challenges meant the judges were left with a tough decision when it came to eliminating someone from the competition.
Paul explained: "We have to decide whether someone should go or we leave it for another week, and that's what Prue and I had to go through and sit through again and have a chat and see where we are."
'The Great British Bake Off' returns to Channel 4 on Tuesday (24.10.23) at 8pm.
