'Good Morning Britain' thrown into chaos after a mouse was spotted running around the studio.
The ITV breakfast show hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid revealed the rodent was seen scurrying across the set during Wednesday's episode (14.10.20), leading to "shrieks and wails" from the crew.
Returning from an ad break, Piers teased: "We're back to breaking news. There's a mouse on the studio floor.
"There's been shrieks and wails, a lot of drama here during the commercial break. It's now under one of the cameras."
He joked the reaction to the furry intruder was like "a crocodile arrived on set", while Ranvir Singh admitted she's been scared of mice ever since she caught one in her home.
Meanwhile, Susanna assured viewers they would be the first to know if there were any more sightings.
She quipped: "We'll bring you right up to date, we're across that story and we have a full surveillance team."
Although Susanna and Piers tried to push on with the show as normal, they were distracted by movement "behind the camera".
She asked: "There's a lot of commotion behind the camera. Have you found the mouse?"
Piers added: "Can we move on until we get a confirmed sighting?"
As if on cue, the mouse reappeared, and the 55-year-old star couldn't resist a dig at rival show 'BBC Breakfast', as he suggested they named it after anchor Dan Walker.
He said: "The mouse came out and it's literally this big. A mouse in the studio ...
"What shall we call it? Shall we call it Dan Walker?"
After all the drama, 'GMB' weather presenter Laura Tobin revealed the animal had left their studio and was instead heading over to the 'This Morning' set.
