Sandy and Sandra / Credit: Channel 4Channel 4 have confirmed that Gogglebox will be making a primetime return on Friday, September 26 at 9pm.
The BAFTA-winning series will not however this time round feature George Gilbey and his family, having had them axed because of his decision to compete on Celebrity Big Brother.
Most of the other same families and friends who appeared in previous episodes will return, as well as new additions that are to be announced in the coming weeks.
Sandy and Sandra from the show were mobbed earlier this week by fans at an outdoor cinema in North London, where the pair had gone to watch a screening of Grease.
Credit: Channel 4"It was really surreal to be walking down the cinema aisle seeing all the Gogglebox faces looking back at us." said Sandy, referring to the crowd who were wearing masks of the show's cast.
Sandra said: "It was so much fun to see all the Gogglebox masks, I loved my own so much and wish I could live in it!"
