Steph and Dom / Credit: Channel 4Channel 4's award winning series Gogglebox is to return to screens in a prime time Friday night slot.
Loved and highly-opinionated families that the nation have grown to adore are back once more, with a few new additions to shake up the mix, and are ready to share their opinions with the UK regarding a week's worth of television.
Each episode is filmed over seven days covering the week's television and news highlights, and instant reactions are captured as well as fierce discussions and debates, all from the comfort of each participant's home.
Head of Specialist Factual David Glover says, “We make each episode from scratch every week, never knowing what we are going to get. I love the fact that it’s so funny, and I love that the show feels warm but maybe most of all I love the fact it feels like a little bit of truth. Our viewers can say whatever they want, cutting through PR, cutting through the bullshit. They are even allowed to slag of my other shows – which they invariably do.”
Programmes and news discussed in the first episode will include The Voice, The Taste, Saturday Night Takeaway and The Oscars 2014.
Gogglebox series three launches Friday, March 7 at 9pm on Channel 4.
