Davina McCall is set to move to ITV to host a new dance show.

The host - who currently fronts 'Got to Dance' for Sky - is reportedly moving back to prime time for the new show, said to be an answer to the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The programme will focus on celebrity couples, who are taught to dance by professionals over a number of weeks, and it is likely to be called either 'Let's Dance' or 'Stepping Out'.

Couples in the running to appear include Denise Welch and her new husband Lincoln Townley, who were reportedly filmed doing their first dance for the show at their wedding earlier this month, as well as Glynis Barber and Michael Brandon.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper the show is a "cross between 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'Mr & Mrs'".

Sky bosses are in the dark over Davina's plan to host the show.

One insider said: "We don't know anything about it. As far as we're concerned she'll be hosting 'Got to Dance' when it returns in January."

Former 'Big Brother' host Davina has previously worked with ITV hosting 'Reborn in the USA', 'Popstars: The Rivals' and 'Love on a Saturday Night'.
