Gloria Hunniford wants to get a tattoo.
The 80-year-old broadcaster is planning to have a "little butterfly" inked onto her skin, but wants to wait until she's been vaccinated against coronavirus.
He said: "I’m going to the get the vaccine first and then I’m going to get the tattoo.
"It’s funny, Caron [Keating, her late daughter] used to beg me to let her have a tattoo; she would play tricks on me by getting a fake one. I was so against her piercing her ears and being tattooed, and here I am, in my later life, and the one thing I want is a little butterfly tattoo.”
The 'Loose Women' star insisted she doesn't feel "any different" since turning 80 in April, but joked she would "fall apart" if she stops looking after herself properly.
She told Irish News: "I don’t really feel any different, being 80, but I feel I would fall apart if I don't take my vitamins. Yes, age is just a number, but I have to say, if I'm writing it down on a medical form or something, I really don't like the look of it...
"The only advantage I can see, so far, is that I will be one of the first in line for the vaccine – I definitely can't wait to have it."
But Gloria admitted that turning the "tricky" age had made her think more about her own mortality, and when she does eventually pass away, she wants a glamorous send-off.
She said: "I have in my head, three score years and 10, so of course you think about it, but not in a morbid way.
“I want to be buried with my shoulder pads – eventually. But, for now, I love my life and I still want to live it.”
