Gino D'Acampo is to join Celebrity Juice as team captain whilst Holly Willoughby is on maternity leave with her third baby.

Holly did manage to film the first show of the series last week, but Gino will take her place going forward.

Aiming to come out on top against longterm team captain Fearne Cotton - of course with the aid of some celebrity friends - Gino will battle it out through some of weirdest games and challenges on television.

Keith Lemon is hosting as ever, and presiding over activities.

He said: “Looking forward to having me old pal from Sheffield cover for Holly whilst she's sprouting. I don't know how he's gonna keep up that fake Italian accent for a whole series but it's gonna be fantastico! As Gino says, or when he's out of character 'reet good'!”

Gino added: “I actually can’t believe it’s true... it’s going to be the gig of my year! A show where I can express myself, not through food, but through my sex positions. Which I will be very happy to demonstrate with Fearne.”

Celebrity Juice continues its reign as the highest-rated show on ITV2, with viewership of up to 2.2 million viewers for the last series.
