The former JLS star was booted off of the Channel 4 show after losing in a second jump-off to Louise Thompson in last night's (08.02.15) semi-final.

Tweeting after his exit, he said he was "gutted" to have left and wished his previous competitors good luck in the final.

He wrote: "Gutted I didn't jump further!!could have gone all the way!done myself proud though and have all I could.enjoyed myself on @TheJumpC4 x

"Good luck in the ski cross final guys!! @LouiseHazel @miketindall13 @LouiseAThompson @J_Butterworth86 @JoeyEssex_ @MadeleyChloe x (sic)"

Earlier in the night, with Mike Tindall having already received a golden ticket to the final, the other six contestants split into pairs and competed against each other in the Snowboard Slalom.

Joey Essex was up against Louise Thompson and the 24-year-old television personality triumphed over the 'Made In Chelsea' star, earning his place in the final.

Chloe Madeley faced Louise Hazel and lost out, meaning she had to take her place in the jump-off whilst JB's race against Jon-Allan Butterworth secured his fate.

In the jump-off, Chloe recorded a score of 15m whilst Louise Thompson and JB only managed 14.5m.

With both celebrities registering the same distance, the pair had to jump again and with Louise making the longer jump, JB left the competition.

The final of 'The Jump' begins tonight (09.02.15) on Channel 4.
