The 28-year-old marketing executive entered the villa during Wednesday’s (21.07.21) episode of the ITV2 reality series, but on Thursday (22.07.21) she was brutally dumped after being left as the only single girl following a shock re-coupling.
The final decision was made by Hugo Hammond, who had initially been flirting with Georgia but had failed to find a spark.
Hugo opted to save Chloe Burrows – whom he has been in a friend couple with before – after her partner Toby Aromolaran dropped her for new girl Abigail Rawlings.
And Hugo caused a stir with his speech, as he openly slammed Toby for his decision.
He said: “I would like to couple up with this girl because not only is she out of this world beautiful, she’s super intelligent, she’s funny, and whenever I’m with her, I’m definitely at my happiest.
“If I’m completely honest, she doesn’t deserve to be treated how she has been in the past 24 hours, and I firmly believe that a lot of this ‘test’ stuff is complete bulls***.
“You deserve someone who’s honest, and who really connects with you, and who knows what could happen – stranger things have happened.”
After the result was announced, Toby could be seen visibly angry with Hugo for calling him out so publicly, while Faye Winter muttered under her breath that Hugo was “rude” and “jealous” of the semi-professional footballer for having the choice between two girls.
Viewers will have to tune in on Friday (23.07.21) to see the full fallout of the re-coupling, which also saw Kaz Kamwi finally get out of a friendship couple after she found a real connection with new boy Tyler Cruickshank.
‘Love Island’ airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub.
