The 25-year-old actress and the former Scottish international rugby union player set tongues wagging on Saturday (17.09.16) night when they were spotted getting cosy with one another at the London hotspot Tape after they were introduced through mutual friend Julian MacDonald.

A club source told The Sun newspaper: "Georgia and Thom were very close. There was definitely chemistry between them. They didn't leave each other alone all night and Thom couldn't keep his hands off her. At one point they were sexily dancing together and you could see they both were having a great time. They're both single and it definitely seemed as though something was going on between them."

The news that the former 'Coronation Street' actress was getting close to the athlete in public will no doubt come as a surprise to fans as just a few weeks ago she was left heartbroken when she split from Givoanni Pernice.

The ex-lovers dated for just under a year after meeting on 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2015, during which time Georgia was still in a relationship with her former co-star Sean Ward.

After hitting it off with Giovanni, whom she was paired with for the show, the brunette beauty ended her relationship Sean in December and began dating the dancer in January.

However, things came crashing down earlier this month when Giovanni was paired with Laura Whitmore for the new series of the Ballroom and Latin show.

Georgia said in a statement at the time: "Sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends. Nothing I ever said about my feelings to Gio were fake before people start. I still love him very, very much. But things change."

Thom, on the other hand, has had his fair share of ladies in the past as he previously romanced Kelly Brook.

The pair announced they were expecting a baby girl together via their Twitter accounts on March 11 2011, but they later suffered miscarriage six months into the pregnancy.

Less than a year later, Kelly revealed she and Thom had broken up and the 31-year-old handsome model quickly jumped into a relationship with Canadian singer Jessica Lowndes.

However, the now-former couple split up seven months later.
