George Lamb has backed his dad Larry to win 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
The 69-year-old actor is due to start his stint in the jungle as part of the ITV show this weekend, and his television presenter son George, 36, has said he'll be a hit in the camp because he's "like a cave man" and "likes an adventure".
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the former 'Big Brother's Little Brother' presenter said: "My old man is like a cave man.
"He loves being outside and making fires and all that stuff. He won't be bothered about sleeping rough. He likes an adventure.
"For his 60th birthday we went up the Himalayas - we've been talking about doing it again for his 70th, when he's back."
George's backing comes after it was recently revealed that the 'Gavin & Stacey' actor had to get his family's seal of approval before he went on the show, as he previously suffered from malaria after a trip to Senegal in 2010.
The actor was left with chronic joint pain and almost complete deafness in one ear, but George doesn't think that will affect his jungle experience.
He said: "He's got all the ailments that a 70-year-old man would have. He's got a bit of a funny foot and his ear's not great. I'm not worried about him in that respect. He's not crock or anything. He's got arthritis but it's not like he can't walk."
And the BT Sport host also thinks that although the former EastEnders star has trouble hearing, he'll use it to his advantage in order to "tune people out".
He added: "If someone's annoying him or having a row, he can tune them out.
"Or he will just pretend he can't hear them. He's quite good at that if he doesn't want to listen to someone. He will just zone out and say 'What's that? Can't hear you.' He's chilled. He just lets it wash over him. Things don't bother him.
"Dad is genuinely a nice guy. He's a national treasure."
